The "Check Engine Light" came on in my pickup truck. I'm not a local. I figured, whatever was wrong, I'd have to get my truck to Grand Jct, about 40 miles away for repair. Was I ever wrong in that assumption! I called Les Schwab in Delta to see if they could read the problem via a "Check Engine Code Reader". They don't have that ability at their Delta Store. They kindly referred me to: "The Shop Automotive Tire Pro's" at 12912 HWY 65, Eckert, CO 81418". Being so close, I went there and what a SURPRISE! The owner "MEL" and the incredibly capable young gal at the counter welcomed me. I explained the problem I had and as it turned out, it was clearly not a problem for them. The shop did an analysis and informed me of what the problem was and the cost of repair. In gave the go-ahead. The part was acquired and brought to the shop from Delta, installed and tested all in quite a timely manner! The young vehicle repair man kept me updated...you don't find that much today! While waiting I was struck by the cleanliness of the establishment and waiting area, and I mean CLEAN! They had 2 incredible ladies working on providing Burgers, fries, sausages and other suburb delights if you wished. In the meantime they were sweeping, mopping and cleaning the place almost hourly and on hands and knees...INCREDIBLE! I spoke to MEL, the owner, about the cleanliness of the place and his response was: "That's the way we like it"! Speaking with the frontend clerical gal, who, by her efficiency, runs the place, as is usually the case in most successful businesses, I discovered that they do everything at this store and would build a vehicle for you if that's what you wanted! I clearly can't say enough about "The Shop Automotive Tire Pro's" at 12912 HWY 65, Eckert, CO 81418". They are honest, forthright and will help you! Rest assured that when in this area again and in need of ANY vehicle tires or vehicle maintenance, I will be going to "The Shop Automotive Tire Pro's" at 12912 HWY 65, Eckert, CO 81418"!
